The spring break packets can be listed on the RAH as an entry with the time it took to work on them. I will collect RAHs on Thursday as usual.
We will have our last set of FSA vocabulary words.  Take the time to study them!  These are the types of words that will be in the questions for the upcoming FSA test.

We will NOT have an RRJ due this week.  We WILL have a social studies ticket due on Friday.
We will continue to prepare for the upcoming FSA and wrap up our study of the American Revolution.
The Bin of Happiness winner was Josiah.  Our new phrase is "Great to be Back at School!"

Any missing assignments must be turned in this week or they will not be included in the final grade for the 3rd quarter.  Can you believe this is the end of the third quarter? :)

Math: We will be move on to graphing with line plots and coordinate grids.  Students will need to be able to read data tables and be able to interpret the information.  Also, each day we will spend time reviewing past lessons in order for students to be 100% confident going into the FSA computer test!  Feel free to access the practice test at home to help your child become more and more familiar with the tools they will be using on the test.

Science: We will take a mock FCAT Science test on Wednesday and Thursday.  This will give us good information on what we still need to cover before the FCAT in April.  We will also finish all discussions on adaptations of plants and animals.

We will be continue to practice for the FSA with passaages and questions!

Bin of Happiness Winners were: Brady and Brock!  The new phrase is "Spring Forward"!

Math: We will continue to work on our 2-D shapes, and also review finding area of these shapes.  Some measurements will include fractional measurements.  This will be a great review week before heading out on spring break!  Since the majority of the week will be spent reviewing module 5, we will take the end of module assessment on Thursday before spring break.  Thank you to all the parents that requested a spring break math review packet!  My hope is that you will work on and review this packet with them as they work through it.  It will be of great benefit to them.

Science:  We spent last week discussing plant adaptations, we will look at animal adaptations this week.  When we return from spring break, students will take a mock FCAT.  This will help us determine what areas of weakness we may need to address before they take the FCAT on April 25th & 26th.
