Week of January 4th-8th

Welcome back!  We hope everyone had an enjoyable winter break!

Early Release on Wednesday!

We will visit Twin Lakes Middle School on Thursday!  Please make sure all permission slips have been returned, this is a free field trip, but students are unable to attend if we did not receive a permission slip.  We will be eating at Twin Lakes so students will need to bring a bagged lunch.

Following our field trip to Twin Lakes that evening Bartram Springs will host a Middle School Information Night.  This is a very informative night about the many options for middle school.  This event will start at 6:30PM in the cafeteria.  You will have an opportunity to speak one on one with school representatives, parents, and/or former BSE students who now attend various middle schools.
Schools that will be represented include: Twin Lakes Middle School, LaVilla School of the Arts, Julia Landon, Kirby-Smith, Darnell-Cookman, and James W. Johnson.

The following week we will attend the Marine Science Center on Monday, January 11th.  This is another free field trip, but will require students to bring a bagged lunch (everything must be able to be thrown out!!  Students will also need to decorate their water jug, for collecting shells on the beach!
