Week of October 23rd-27th

Academics:
ELA: New Morphs this week #6. Test on Friday. Remember it is cumulative! 


We will have a new RRJ due on November 3rd with CHATS!
We are enjoying our Novel Study!  It's getting juicy!💛
We will be reading chapters 6 and 7 in Esperanza and completing text dependent questions.
Magic Monday will focus on Point of View!
Zoo prompts must be completed with color coding by Friday, October 27th.

Math:
If you are able to donate individually wrapped hard candy to our class candy jar, think braces friendly, it would be greatly appreciated.   

We will begin a new topic, Partial Quotients and Multi-Digit Whole Number Division.
The first lesson, an iReady teacher resource lesson, 
addresses finding whole number quotients using a rectangular array/ and or area model.  The rest of the week we are back using Duval Math.  Homework help links are listed after each lesson below.

Science:  Students should be continuing to work on their science fair projects.  They have another check in paper to turn in on Friday.  Students will also have a test on forms of energy on Friday.  A review sheet will be sent home for students to use to study.  We will continue to complete labs on energy and review.  We will play Energy BINGO on Thursday! :)
